What are your pet peeves (things you hate the most!)?

Ok I will start with my top 5

1. Lazy nurses

2. Bad pass-offs / sign outs

3. Nurses who are mean to patients but when the family arrives, is all nice

4. Arrogant Interns (MDs)

5. Doctors never returning their pages especially if it is urgent

Nurses who bad mouth other nurses to patients or even other nurses. Gossiping and spreading rumors like they are in highschool still. Nurses who act like they KNOW it all...and when they make a mistake will not admit it or think they did nothinging wrong...hate that...and last one for me is not being a team player...helping each other out...

Mine are:
-tangled IV tubing/lead wires/anything connected to the patient
-when you're giving report and the receiving nurse isn't paying attention. Then asks you a question they would've known the answer to had they listened to your report!
-cnas that want you to do your job AND theirs
-when people comment about night shift and how we do nothing. Ha!
